Our White Elephant Auction was held at 3 O'clock on Saturday. We certainly Appreciate the various items that everyone donated. Sometimes there is a little friendly competition in the bidding - which makes for a lot of fun. Alvis Johnson was the Auctioneer with help from H.M. Roe and Marty Roe. The auction brought in $760.00. The money from the auction pays the rental for the group camp mess hall, paper products, stamps and various other expenses. Rental for the mess hall is $225.00 per day. We have $340.00 to help with expenses for the reunion in 2001. A big THANK YOU to everyone who makes the Auction a success. Saturday Evening they had some good old fashion pickin' and grinnin'. Everyone seemed to enjoy the music. On Sunday we were able to do some last minute visiting, eating and make plans for 2001 reunion. It will be July 13,14 and 15. We are hoping for a big turnout.
